Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. John 4:23

We dress casual to casual business.
We serve The Lord's Supper on the first Sunday of the month. All born-again believers are welcome to
share in this remembrance.
Some bring Bibles, and we make them accessible from the pew, but our Scripture readings are always displayed
on the monitors, too.

We are located off Mary Street in the Walnut Ridge neighborhood of Jeffersonville, IN between the nursery and the cemetery.
In 1952, Walnut Street Baptist Church in Louisville, KY formed a mission church in Jeffersonville, IN and this mission church became Walnut Ridge Baptist Church when Mr. Frank Bonenberger's Mary Street land and $1,600.00 was donated for a church building. The first service was held in our building on October 11, 1953 in what we now know as our Fellowship Hall.
We believe the all-knowing eternal God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being and the Bible is God’s revelation of Himself to mankind, with His ultimate revelation being the Gospel message of redemption through Jesus Christ.
Don Hinton of Jeffersonville, Indiana is our bi-vocational pastor. He has been with us since the fall of 1997. Our mission is to help others find peace with God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to serve His Kingdom with purpose by knowing the will of God and with passion inspired by the Holy Spirit.
We are a small church body today though many remember a time when there was standing room only for Sunday morning services. We have plenty of cushioned pew seats and would love to have the community come again to worship, learn and serve with us.
Are you looking for Jesus? Do you need prayer or baptism? Maybe you're looking for a church home or a place to serve.

Our Wednesday evening Bible Study is an hour-long casual gathering of both the hungry and curious - men, women, youth and senior- with varying degrees of Biblical knowledge.
Pastor Don leads the study with a verse-by-verse reading with candid questions and discussion. He is very knowledgeable and offers Biblical, geographical, historical and religious commentary to clarify context. Sharon usually brings snacks, and there is always hot coffee. 📜☕🍪
We are currently studying Paul's letter to the church at Ephesus, or Ephesians, and exploring the theological truths about the believer's identity and spiritual blessings we gain in Christ. The book provides practical guidance on living out that new identity through unity, love, and spiritual strength reinforced with the "Armor of God" for spiritual warfare.
Come as you are. You do not need to be a member or even a believer. Coffee is on!
